Who would have thought physical disfigurement would become a blessing in disguise?  That’s what happened to RADAZZ owner, John McDonald.  A longtime friend came from across the country to visit.  With him, was his fury companion, a dog named Ozzie.  John, being a big animal lover, had to give Ozzie a big bear hug.  He approached the dog from behind and Ozzie did not like being taken by surprise by a stranger.  Out of fear, Ozzie nipped at John and as a result, mangled his outer ear. 

After two reconstructive surgeries, John’s ear was still sensitive to the touch and if anything pressed on it, it hurt.   This affected his motorcycle riding experience because when he wore his sunglasses underneath his bandana, all he felt was pain.

Refusing to stop wearing his bandana and realizing other bandana users experience the same problem regardless if a dog bit off your ear, John and his wife, Cindy, determined a more comfortable, more functional, more stylish and grab and go type bandana was long overdue for the world.

The third problem the RADAZZ bandana addresses is a secure fit.  The user wearing a standard bandana will often have the bandana fly off as well as be constrained by the eyewear arms. This is because the arms push the bandana up and creates air gaps, causing the user to constantly adjust and then the wind takes it and there it goes. The RADAZZ bandana design eliminates these issues because the arms are in slots preventing the bandana from lifting and air from creeping in.
